1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RecoverHelper ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

RecoverHelper is provided free of charge. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on your personal computers.

3. Restrictions

You may not (a) resell or redistribute the Software as your own; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Software; (c) use the Software for any unlawful purpose, including recovery of data you do not have legal rights to access.

4. Free software

All features are free. The Software recovers JPG and PNG immediately; every other format unlocks at no cost by pairing our free mobile app. There are no paid tiers, license fees or subscriptions. The service is funded by advertising and voluntary donations.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee successful recovery of any specific file. Data recovery results depend on disk condition, prior overwrites, and other factors beyond our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and because the Software is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Software shall not exceed USD 50.

7. Advertising and Donations

This website and our mobile app display third-party advertising to fund the free Software. Donations are entirely voluntary gifts and are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
